A thought provoking question is, “If your house was on fire what would be the one item that you would try to save above all else?” Everyone of us have things that we value very highly. In our message today Jesus told two different parables that carry the same meaning. The man that found a treasure in the field and the merchant who sold all to acquire the pearl of great price that he had discovered. Knowing Jesus and all that comes with that, is without a doubt the greatest treasure that we will ever discover.
