The Wait Is Over

In the final message of our sermon series, “Journey To Christmas”, we are reminded that waiting is often part of how the Kingdom of God operates. Two individuals that understood this were Simeon and Anna. They had been waiting for the promise of God to be fulfilled and were not only blessed to see the Messiah but as well were the first individuals other than the shepherds to validate this. Scripture tells us that every fact must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses. For them the wait was over. For us, He came as a baby, but next time it will be as the triumphant King. He came in humility before, but this time it will be with majesty and power.
